Department of Defense investigators have identified the remains of U.S. Army chaplain and Servant of God Father Emil Kapaun among the unknown Korean War soldiers buried in a Hawaiian cemetery. Father Kapaun is a Medal of Honor recipient and has been long remembered for his valor as a POW.

The remains of the Servant of God military chaplain were identified in Hawaii earlier this month. In his home diocese of Wichita and across the country, the discovery is celebrated.
