St. Paul parishes offer ‘sign of unity’ in joint eucharistic procession

A stiff southwest wind whipped over the Interstate 94 bridge at Lexington Avenue June 6, as Father R.J. Fichtinger of St. Thomas More in St. Paul raised a monstrance holding the Eucharist and offered a blessing for St. Paul’s Rondo neighborhood. The short stop on the bridge was part of a joint event by St. Thomas More and St. Peter Claver parishes to celebrate the feast of Corpus Christi, the body and blood of Christ.
