Pressure is growing on Germany’s bishops to cut ties with Irme Stetter-Karp, the co-president of the country’s controversial “synodal way,” after she called for the nationwide provision of abortion. One pro-life group wrote to ask the German bishops to remove Stetter-Karp from leadership. The bishops thanked them for the letter.
