The nation’s largest Protestant denomination, the Southern Baptist Convention, is struggling to deal with abuse allegations and responses seem “allergic” to the legal system. Indeed, unlike with the Catholic abuse scandals, there’s been a curious selectivity of outrage over Protestant abuse.
