Five deacons will be ordained priests at the Cathedral of St. Paul in St. Paul 10 a.m. May 28.

Deacon Connor McGinnis has been ministering at his teaching parish of St. Paul in Ham Lake, Deacon Joseph Nguyen has been ministering at St. Vincent de Paul in Brooklyn Park, Deacon Michael Selenski has been ministering at All Saints in Lakeville, and Deacon John Utecht has been ministering at St. Michael in St. Michael. They have been studying at The St. Paul Seminary in St. Paul. Also to be ordained is Deacon Samuel Gilbertson, who has been in formation at the Pontifical North American College in Rome. The ordination Mass will be livestreamed on the Cathedral’s Facebook page.
