Writing to staff at the Archdiocesan Catholic Center in St. Paul, Archbishop Bernard Hebda said May 2 that he tested positive for COVID-19 April 30 and is quarantining at home.

“The symptoms so far have been extremely mild and I have been able to move most of my appointments to Zoom,” said the archbishop of St. Paul and Minneapolis. “As always, I would be grateful for your prayers. Please join me in praying for an end to the pandemic and in lifting up those in health care who continue to be so generous in their service.”
