Pope Francis has asked all the bishops of the world to join him in consecrating Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary on Friday, March 25. (To learn all about what the consecration means and why it matters, check out this story.)

Below is a list of all the dioceses in the United States whose bishops have announced they will be joining the pope in the consecration, and information about how you can participate.

Allentown 

Bishop Alfred Schlert will offer the prayers of consecration at noon ET March 25 at the Cathedral of St. Catharine of Siena, followed by a Mass. The public is welcome. Learn more here.

Cincinnati 

Archbishop Dennis Schnurr will celebrate Mass on March 25 at 11:30 am ET, at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Peter in Chains. The public is welcome.

Cleveland

Bishop Edward Malesic has requested “Catholics of the Diocese of Cleveland and all people of goodwill to take a moment of prayer at that time to pray for peace in Ukraine in concert with the Holy Father and the universal Church” on March 25 at noon ET. 

Denver 

Archbishop Samuel Aquila said: “I will join the Holy Father in prayer that day and I am encouraging the priests and the faithful of the archdiocese to also pray in support for his intentions, as we seek the intercession of the Blessed Virgin, the Queen of Peace, in bringing conversion and peace to this region.”

Detroit

Archbishop Allen Vigneron will participate in the consecration at the Cathedral of the Most Blessed Sacrament in Detroit at noon ET. The consecration prayers will be preceded by a rosary at 11:40 a.m. Priests from around the archdiocese are invited to join the archbishop at the cathedral; the faithful are invited to join in prayer and view the livestream at facebook.com/ArchofDet or aod.org/livemasses.

Fort Worth

Bishop Michael Olson will participate in the consecration locally at Saint Patrick Cathedral at 11 am CT on March 25. All priests of the Diocese are invited and encouraged to join Bishop Olson for the act of consecration. The invitation is extended to all the faithful of the Diocese as well.

Gallup 

Bishop James Wall has requested that all the faithful join in the consecration, “each in your own parish and home.” This announcement from the diocese includes instructions on how to participate.

Helena

Bishop Austin Vetter will lead the consecration in Helena at the Cathedral of St. Helena on March 25 at 10 am MT. A livestream will be available here. 

Madison

Bishop Donald Hying said he “will be joining the pope next Friday in his consecration of Russia.” The diocese has not announced yet exactly how the faithful will be asked to participate. 

Manchester

Bishop Peter Libasci requested that “churches be open and leaders be on hand to encourage prayers and the prayer of consecration itself. I will lead the prayer at the Cathedral and it will be live-streamed for all who wish to partake from their homes” on March 25 at noon ET. 

Metuchen

Bishop James Checchio will lead an Act of Consecration of Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary at the Cathedral of St. Francis of Assisi in Metuchen. The Mass will begin at 12:10 pm ET on March 25. 

Mobile 

Archbishop Thomas J. Rodi and the Archdiocese of Mobile will join in the consecration at the Cathedral-Basilica of the Immaculate Conception on March 25. A Rosary will begin at 7:40 am CT and will be followed by a brief prayer service at approximately 8 am, the diocese said. All are invited to attend or join via livestream at Facebook.com/mobilearchdiocese. 

Oklahoma City

On March 25, Archbishop Paul Coakley will be celebrating Mass at Mount Saint Mary Catholic High School and will lead a procession to the school’s Marian Grotto to consecrate the school to the Blessed Mother. During this time, he will lead an Act of Consecration of Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. He invites Catholics throughout the archdiocese to be united in prayer at noon CT on March 25.

Pensacola-Tallahassee

Bishop William Wack will join Pope Francis in consecrating Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary on Friday, March 25, at 11 am CT at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in Pensacola. Bishop Wack will also lead the faithful in praying the rosary and conclude with a reflection. The diocese invites the faithful to attend in-person or via livestream at https://ptdiocese.org/consecration-to-mary.

Portland in Maine

Bishop Robert Deeley announced he will join Pope Francis and the other bishops of the world in the act of consecration on March 25 at 11:45 am ET at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Portland. All are welcome to participate in person, and the event will also be live streamed at www.portlandcatholic.org/livestreamed-liturgies. Maine parishes are also being invited to hold similar times of prayer at the local level.

Rockford

Bishop David Malloy will join Pope Francis in the consecration on March 25 at 7 pm CT from the Cathedral of St. Peter in Rockford. The public is invited and the Mass will be livestreamed. 

Scranton

Bishop Joseph Bambera will celebrate the 12:10 pm ET Mass on Friday, March 25, at the Cathedral of Saint Peter in Scranton and will offer the Prayer of Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The faithful are invited and encouraged to attend in-person. The Mass and Prayer of Consecration will be livestream on the Diocese of Scranton website and social media platforms and will air on CTV: Catholic Television of the Diocese of Scranton.

St. Augustine

The St. Augustine diocese announced that the Prayer of Consecration that Pope Francis will say on March 25 will be made available on the diocesan website and shared with the parishes of the Diocese of St. Augustine.

Steubenville

Bishop Jeffrey Monforton will join Pope Francis in prayer to consecrate Russia and Ukraine on March 25, at St. Agnes Church, Mingo Junction. Monforton plans to pray the rosary with the faithful at the church beginning at 11:45 am ET, and at “approximately noon” will pray the pope’s prayer of consecration. The bishop invited the faithful to participate in person, online, or to join him spiritually by praying the rosary at 11:45 am on March 25.

Toledo

Bishop Daniel Thomas invites everyone to join him on March 25 with the Consecration beginning at noon ET followed by the praying of the Stations of the Cross at Our Lady, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary Cathedral in Toledo.Those who are not able to join in person are encouraged to join spiritually via live stream. 

Wichita

Bishop Carl Kemme will celebrate the noon CT Mass at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception on March 25, and will participate in the consecration.
