Joe Biden will be the second Catholic president (John F. Kennedy was the first) to meet a pope at the Vatican when he sits down with Pope Francis tomorrow at noon. The first U.S. president to visit the Vatican was Woodrow Wilson, who met with Pope Benedict XV in 1919 while on a European tour after World War I.
