St. Dominic’s message is timely and timeless, superior-general says on 800th anniversary of saint’s death (Order of Preachers)

In 2019, Father Gerard Timoner III became the 88th Master of the Order of Preachers, the religious order founded by St. Dominic, who died in 1221.

In May, Pope Francis wrote a letter commemorating the 800th anniversary of St. Dominic’s death.
