Pope Francis arrived at the Syro-Catholic Cathedral of "Our Lady of Salvation", see of the Syro-Catholic archeparchy of Baghdad, for the meeting with bishops, priests, men and women religious, seminarians and catechists. Upon arrival, he was received at the entrance of the Cathedral by His Beatitude Ignace Youssif II Younan, Patriarch of Antioch of the Syrians, and by the arched-arch Msgr. Ephrem Yousif Abba. Before reaching the altar, introduced by greetings from the Syro-Catholic Patriarch and President of the Assembly of Catholic Bishops of Iraq, His Beatitude Louis Raphaël Sako, Patriarch of Babylon of the Chaldeans, Pope Francis gave his address.
