A healthcare worker prepares a dose of COVID-19 vaccine at Maccabi Health Services in the Israeli coastal city of Herzliya, north of Tel Aviv, on December 21, 2020. Israel has ordered 14 million doses of the vaccine — covering seven million people, as two doses are required per person for optimal protection — from Pfizer as well as US biotech firm Moderna.
