Report examines plight of Tunisia’s Christians, other religious minorities (Cairo Institute for Human Rights Studies)

Islam is the official religion of the North African nation of 11.6 million (map), and 99.5% of its citizens are Muslim. According to the report, “religious minorities, although having acquired a certain set of rights, still lack full citizenship to some extent and face societal stigma.”
