Happy 100th Birthday St. JP II!
It was in the Jubilee year of 2000 when we were in Rome with our kids. The Pope invited us to his private Mass. Afterward we were able to meet and speak with him.
I presented him with my book Upon this Rock and Janet asked him to pray her her to raise up a priest (and a whole story revolves around that 🙂
Here is a picture of us with St. Pope John Paul II. We still have in hand the Rosaries he gave us.
We were able to meet with him like this twice — and also on a 3rd visit our oldest kids, dressed in their wedding gowns and tuxedos, were blessed by the Pope, both couples together AND the babies in both of their wombs.
