Here is my new talk on St. Joseph given at a Men’s Conference in March 2020. It is an hour talk on MP3 entitled “Joseph: Manly Man & Chosen Father.”
This talk will give men a whole new image of this rugged saint who in some ways was just an “average Joe.”
“We often see St. Joseph holding flowers in his lotion-soft hands. But this is not the real Joseph, the stonemason and rugged Jew chosen by God to be the legal father of his Son Jesus.
“Though he was a real man struggling with the same things all other men face, he stayed true to the Law and obedience to God. Joseph is the ideal image of the strong silent type, righteous and true.
“Walk a day in the sandals of St. Joseph and see the kind of man and father we should be.”
