This Feast of St. Joseph, March 19, 2020, join Pope Francis at 9pm Rome time, in prayer to protect every family, the sick, and all caring for them.

Matteo Bruni, Director of the Holy See Press Office, released a statement reminding the Holy Father will join from his residence Santa Marta, the initiative to pray the Rosary tonight, promoted by the Italian Bishops Conference (the CEI).

“He will introduce the prayer with a message in which he invites every family, every faithful, every religious community to turn to the Lord that He may protect in a special way every family, particularly the sick  and the persons that are taking care of them,” he said.

“This evening,” Bruni said quoting the Pope’s reflection, “we pray united, entrusting ourselves to the intercession of Saint Joseph, Custodian of the Holy Family, Guardian of all our families.”

“The carpenter of Nazareth,” the Vatican Director continued, “also knew precariousness and bitterness, concern for the morrow, but he was able to walk in the dark of certain moments, allowing himself always, without reservations, to be guided by the Will of God.”
