In all the fundraising books and guidance you read, they always tell you that “statistics show” long fundraising asks that go on and on net the greatest results.

I’ve never been quite sure what to believe about that, because it sounds crazy to me, but I’m a writer, not a fundraising guru, so who am I to argue?

This week, though, I’m not feeling well, and I bet you’re already feeling the grind of 2020, especially after last week’s exhortation dustup, so I’m going to throw out their advice and not waste either of our time.

Here’s the deal:

We run this operation month to month, and January is always a low month for donations, but last month was unusually low. February is a short month, so with only 9 days left, we’re at less than 50% of our fundraising goal, and we need your help. These shortfalls in our fundraising add up quickly, and there are bills to pay.

If you enjoy 1P5, if you like our articles, our podcasts, and our videos, and you can chip in a buck or two, it’d sure help us out. There are a lot of you out there reading, listening, and watching, so even $1 donations add up.

If there’s something you’d like to see more of, or less of, you can always contact us right here.

If you’ve never donated before, I’m asking you, especially, to consider it today. Think of what you’d spend on a newspaper, a magazine, a cup of coffee – something small. If you can do even that much, it would make a big difference in helping us keep 1P5 going, and keep it free for those who truly can’t give.

And if you’ve already given, I want you to know how grateful we are. And from all of you, we surely do appreciate your prayers.

May God bless you abundantly!

In Christ,
