Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett went to Capitol Hill Tuesday to begin meeting with senators, a customary step ahead of her confirmation hearings, set to begin Oct. 12. Barrett was accompanied by Vice President Mike Pence, White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows and White House Counsel Pat Cipollone to begin a day packed with courtesy calls with Republicans — but so far, no Democrats.
