Former Vice President Joe Biden on Thursday spoke about his Catholic faith, in response to comments from President Donald Trump that a Biden presidency would “hurt God.” But Brian Burch, president of political advocacy organization CatholicVote, commented, “What matters here isn’t [Biden’s] devotional life, but his policies. And his policy agenda threatens the freedom of the Church in America.”
