Communion Antiphon, 2 Cor 5:15: Christ died for all, that those who live may live no longer for themselves, but for him who died for them and is risen, alleluia. Today the Roman Martyrology commemorates St. Peter Celestine, who was born in 1221 and retired into the desert when he was hardly an adolescent. His virtues soon drew disciples around him. This was the origin of the branch of the Benedictine order known as the Celestines.
