According to representatives of a lay organization in the Ernakulam-Angamaly Archdiocese in India, of the total 340 churches under the archdiocese, only five witnessed the Mass according to the new rite and as specified by Pope Francis and Major Archbishop, Cardinal Mar George Alencherry.
