On Dec. 22, 2019, the Fourth Sunday of Advent, at Shrewsbury Cathedral in England, Bishop Mark Davies received Gavin Ashenden into the Catholic Church.

Following his conversion, the former chaplain to the queen is at peace and at work for the Church.
