Background: World Day of Migrants and Refugees (CWN)

On September 25, the Church observes the 108th World Day of Migrants and Refugees, a commemoration instituted by St. Pius X. Pope Francis’s message for the day, issued on May 9, is entitled “Building the Future with Migrants and Refugees.”
