A Massachusetts man who was denied a heart transplant because he has resisted Covid vaccination is in declining health, his family reports.

D. J. Ferguson, who is 31, had been near the top of a list for heart transplants, but was removed because hospital officials said his unvaccinated status made him less likely to survive after a transplant.
