The prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship has asserted that most of the world’s bishops support the Vatican’s moves to restriction the traditional Latin Mass.

Archbishop Arthur Roche said that most Catholics would agree on the need for unity in worship. “This is the Mass of the Church,” he said—referring to the Novus Ordo. “This is what the Church has decided, how we express ourselves as a community in worship.”
