Vatican Secretary of State, Cardinal Pietro Parolin, the most senior Vatican official after Pope Francis, has ruled that entry to the Vatican now is only to be permitted to those who are vaccinated or have recently recovered from COVID-19. He also reaffirmed earlier Vatican statements that conscientious objections to vaccine production are not justified.
