Pope Francis has promulgated a new version of the “Norms on the Delicts Reserved to the Congregation of the Doctrine of the Faith”, which concern the serious crimes that do particular harm to the Church. The norms, originally promulgated by Pope John Paul II in 2001, and previously amended by Pope Benedict XVI in 2010, have now been modified and brought up to date.
