We started out with a somewhat more leisurely morning at the Hyatt hotel here in Green Bay. The bus left at 10 and the cars all followed with two options for the morning. Half of the group went to visit Lambeau Field and the other half to the Botanical Gardens.
After lunch in De Pere, we had a tour of St. Norbert Abbey Church and Crypt. Then one of the highlights of our pilgrimage in this Year of St. Joseph, we arrived at the National Shrine of St. Joseph. We had plenty of time to tour the site and an opportunity for devotions.
Talk by Steve Ray on St. Joseph, dedication to St. Joseph and celebration of the Mass at the Shrine. Dinner at Angelina Italian Restaurant in which the whole quaint restaurant was just open for us.
