Archbishop Cordileone ‘Deeply Grieved’ by Attempts to Delay Consideration of Eucharistic Teaching Document

Cardinal Blase Cupich of Chicago had recently written to the president of the U.S. bishops’ conference, Archbishop Jose Gomez of Los Angeles, asking that any discussion of “Eucharistic worthiness and other issues raised by the Holy See” by the bishops be postponed, until the conference can meet again in-person.
