Archbishop Abel Gabuza, who’d been tapped by Pope Francis to replace Cardinal Wilfried Napier as Archbishop of Durban, died on Sunday of COVID-19. His death comes after ten other bishops died during the week of Jan. 8-14 after testing positive with the coronavirus.
