Bishop Nunzio Galantino, president of the Administration of the Patrimony of the Holy See (APSA), said funding for a $100-million loss in a London property deal came instead from the Secretariat of State’s reserves. The bishop also denied that the Vatican is on the brink of financial collapse. He also acknowledged that “errors” had contributed to the Vatican’s losses.
