It is communicated that, on the afternoon of November 2, at 4:00 pm, the Holy Father will celebrate Mass for the faithful deceased, in a strictly private way, in the Teutonic Holy Cemetery, without the attendance of the faithful. At the end, he will pause for prayer in the cemetery and will then go to the Vatican Grottos to remember the deceased Pontiffs.
At 11:00 am on the morning of November 5, Pope Francis will preside over the Holy Mass for the deceased Cardinals and Bishops.
As the other liturgical celebrations over the next months, the Mass will be celebrated at the Altar of the Chair in Saint Peter’s Basilica, with very limited participation of the faithful, identified according to the ways used in past months, in respect of the protection measures planned and subject to variations due to the sanitary situation.
