The Southern African Catholic Bishops’ Conference (SACBC) Youth Office, under the SACBC Department for Formation and Apostolic of the Laity, will virtually host the annual celebration of National Youth Day on June 16, 2020.
The event logistics will be organized in collaboration with the Archdiocese of Cape Town. The Holy Mass will be live-streamed on SACBC Youth & Young Adult Ministry Facebook Page: @sacbcyouthministry from 11 am – 12:30.
Archbishop Stephen Brislin of Cape Town will preside over the Holy Mass while Bishop Stanley Dziuba OSPPE of Umzimkhulu and the Youth Liaison Bishop, will give a reflection of the day.
Music will be presented by the Archdiocese of Pretoria and Archdiocese of Durban.
Different Clusters will take care of intercessions according to their different languages.
All young people are requested to make a plan in advance in order to make sure they join the celebration wherever they will be.
