“The Video of the Pope” is publishing an exceptional special edition, on the occasion of the feast of the Annunciation, March 25, 2020, and of the Our Father prayer, to which Pope Francis invites all Christians to join him, to ask for an end to the Coronavirus pandemic.

“The Video of the Pope “ begins with these words in Spanish: “Let us pray for the pandemic to end!”

The Holy Father adds a request to pray for the sick and those suffering from the fact of the pandemic. “Let us all pray together for the sick, and for people that are suffering.”

He repeats the words of the “Memorare” prayer. “ “We seek refuge under your protection, Holy Mother of God. Despise not our supplications, we that are in trial, and free us from all danger, O Glorious and Blessed Virgin.”

The Holy Father thanks all those that responded to his invitation to pray together. “I thank all Christians, all men and all women of goodwill, who pray for this moment, all united, regardless of the religious tradition to which they belong.”
