Out of concern for our guests and speakers, the 16th annual National Catholic Prayer Breakfast in the United States has been canceled.

The National Catholic Prayer Breakfast (NCPB) was established in 2004 in response to Saint John Paul II’s call for a New Evangelization. Each year, over 1,500 people gather in our nation’s capital to pray for our country. An impressive list of speakers highlights a program that attracts lay and religious leaders, national figures, Catholic apostolates, and guests from a variety of sectors and backgrounds. The event is non-partisan.

Archbishop Emeritus Charles J. Chaput OFM Cap., of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Philadelphia, PA, along with William Barr, United States Attorney General, were scheduled to offer remarks at the event, which was set for March 30th, 2020 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in Washington, D.C. Each year, over 1,500 of our nation’s most influential Catholics gather in Washington, D.C. to pray for the direction and leadership of the country.
